Why have you created Schizophrenic?

A few factors came into play to create this situation. Here are the events listed in chronological order
  1. I use Linux and pilot-xfer to backup/synch my Palm. pilot-xfer does not use the Palm UserName.
  2. I found some software I wanted to run that required registration.
  3. I registered the software using the NULL UserName. The software does not work if I change (create) the UserName. Hence, the registration process works (i.e. the software is essentially non-transferrable)
  4. I moved to Alaska. I moved to Switzerland. I travel between Switzerland and New York. I discovered that colleagues, friends, family, and loved-ones are spread over the globe.
  5. I looked for software to fill my need of keeping track of what time it is in various places around the globe. I found CityTime.
  6. CityTime cannot be registered to a device without a UserName. Adding a UserName at this point raises problems (see #3)
  7. This left left me with three choices:
    1. Write a hack that allows me to give CityTime a Palm UserName
Sounds like a plan... Make it happen.
    2. Re-code CityTime as Open Source free software.
Might happen... Takes longer than Schizophrenic
    3. Not use CityTime
      Lousy solution
...And Schizophrenic was born...
